Main scientific interests :


The research conducted in the group has mainly been dedicated to the reactivity of short-lived radical species (oxygen-centered radicals, sulfur-centered radicals, and carbon-centered radicals) and to the development of new radical methodologies to be applied to selective organic synthesis.


Recent Topics :


  1. •Alkyne/dicobalt hexacarbonyl complexes in: Nicholas/Prins reaction ; Complexed alpha-Alkynylimines in tandem [2+2]cycloaddition/Pauson-Khand reaction.

  2. •Dynamic kinetic resolution of aliphatic amines combining enzymatic resolution and sulfanyl radical-mediated racemization is the first switchable procedure enabling the synthesis of either (R)- or (S)-amides depending on the nature of the enzyme (lipase CAL-B, or alkaline protease).

  3. •Extension to the synthesis of polyamides through iterative tandem catalysis. 

  4. •Cascade processes based on dialkylzincs aerobic chemistry.

  5. •Memory of chirality in cascade rearrangement of enediynes

  6. •Radical reactions of hybrid materials based on mesoporous silicas, radical reactivity in confined medium.
