Development of synthetic methods: ring-closing and ring-rearrangement metathesis reactions, electrophilic ring-opening of cyclopropylcarbinols, reactivity of functionalized ynamides and enamides, [2,3]-Wittig sigmatropic rearrangements, gold- and rhodium-catalyzed ring-opening reactions of cyclopropenes


  1. Total synthesis of bioactive natural products and analogues: (-)-4a,5-dihydrostreptazolin, zincophorin, mycothiazole, amphidinolide J, cytostatin, palmerolide A, phoslactomycin B
